Ballu Baby began as a personal journey, inspired by the challenges we faced as parents of two beautiful girls. When our eldest daughter developed eczema, we struggled to find the right clothing that didn’t aggravate her sensitive skin. She often woke up sweaty and uncomfortable, leading to flare-ups. It was during our search for natural, breathable fabrics that we discovered bamboo—a material that offers incredible softness, breathability, and hypoallergenic properties, but was often inaccessible due to high costs.

 

We started Ballu Baby with a simple mission: to create sustainable, affordable, and thoughtfully designed baby essentials that parents could trust. From our home in California, we developed a small collection of products, starting with bamboo rompers and expanding to GOTS-certified organic cotton and hand-crafted kantha quilts—each piece made with care and tested by local moms and our own little girls.
